This 25,000-acre mountain park features pine and oak forests, meadows, and Cuyamaca Peak at 6,512 feet - San Diego County's second highest peak. Despite 2003 fire damage, the park has regenerated beautifully. Native American history, gold rush remnants, and diverse wildlife including mountain lions and deer create a rich tapestry. The park offers 110 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Fall colors and spring wildflowers add seasonal beauty.
