This Marin County park preserves a historic Chinese fishing village and 1,600 acres of tidal marshes, oak-covered hills, and bayshore. The village thrived in the 1880s with 500 residents harvesting shrimp. Today, historic buildings and a small museum tell the story of California's Chinese fishing communities. Miles of trails wind through oak woodlands with views of San Pablo Bay. The marshes provide critical habitat for endangered species. Mountain biking is popular on the ridge trails. A small beach offers windsurfing and kayaking.
