A forested oasis in the heart of Wine Country, Bothe-Napa offers a cool escape from Napa Valley's summer heat. The park features second-growth redwoods in Ritchey Canyon, alongside Douglas fir, tan oak, and madrone. Ritchey Creek provides summer swimming holes. The historic Bale Grist Mill (part of the park complex) is a restored 1846 water-powered flour mill still grinding grain. Nearly 10 miles of trails include the challenging ridge hike to adjacent Sugarloaf Ridge. The campground provides a base for wine tasting tours.
